The Minneapolis hip-hop collective Doomtree have announced the first Doomtree Zoo music festival. The one-day event takes place at CHS Field in Saint Paul. Doomtree Zoo features, more than just rap, with performances by hardcore punks Trash Talk and the Heart of the Beast puppeteers, among others.

III Points is a three-day art, music, and technology summit at Mana Wynwood in Miami. An interactive festival with large-scale art and technology installations showcased throughout the venue, III Points offers unique musical acts, such as a three-hour DJ set from Nicolas Jaar (in honor of III Points' third year). Notably, Ghostface Killah will perform with DOOM, who will be "transported Star Trek-style directly onto the III Points Festival stage" for the duo to perform tracks from their long-anticipated album, DOOMSTARKS.
